Ms. Janet Reynolds comes to us from the world of forensic investigations of non-violent crime and civil litigations. She adds an extensive legal background to the wealth of professional knowledge offered through our Managers at Castle Breckenridge Management. As a Certified Forensic Accountant, she operated her own business, White Collar Forensics, for 7 years, retired for 2 years and decided to learn more about real estate. Her certifications include:
FACFEI - Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute
DABFE - Diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Examiners
CFA - Certified Forensic Accountant
CFS - Certified Fraud Specialist
CFC - Certified Forensic Consultant
CHS-4 - Certified in Homeland Security, Level IV of IV
She also served 33 years with the Federal Government, which included heading up branches of accounting and auditing, and specialized in fraud auditing. In addition, she is and has been a Notary Public with the State of California for 10 years, has a Real Estate Sales License, and has completed all but one class of the educational requirements for a Real Estate Broker’s license. She has passed all six required classes and exams that earned her the designation of CCAM, Certified Community Association Manager.
Deciding to start a new life, she came to us in February of 2007 as an intern from the Real Estate program at Cuyamaca College. She then served six months as an Assistant Manager and was promoted to Manager in November 2007. Ms Reynolds currently manages three for our community Associations and assists another Manager with her four properties.
Ms. Reynolds believes the Manager’s position is vital to the smooth operation of an Association. Communication and coordination are key to effective solutions. The Manager acts as the hub for the Board, the Homeowners, the Association’s contractors and service providers. Once a requirement is identified by any one of these sources, the Manager must stay on top of effecting the solution.
What Ms. Reynolds likes best about the work is that every day is different; no two days are alike. And she says, “Every day is exciting! I can’t wait to get to work.”
